About Sharm El Sheikh
- Sharm El Sheikh is a Red Sea resort city in South Sinai, with Ras Muhammad National Park to the southwest and Nabq Protectorate to the north.
- Its international airport serves the city and provides a road gateway for longer journeys to Dahab, Nuweiba and Taba.
- Marine activities, a local market and an archaeological museum give visitors choices beyond staying at their hotel. Each outing has its own meeting point and inclusions.
Name your exact hotel in Nabq, Sharks Bay, Ras Nasrani, Naama Bay, Hadaba or Sharm El Maya. Resort names can be similar, and the hotel entrance may differ from a nearby marina or beach meeting point. Confirm the correct gate for a family or group pickup.

Places to visit & things to do
Use these highlights to choose your own visits. Experiences, specialist activities and remote stops can be requested; operation, access and any extras are confirmed for your date.
Naama Bay and its waterfront
Choose a waterfront stroll, a cafe stop or an evening out around Naama Bay. Arrange a one-way journey or agree your return pickup separately. A town outing does not automatically include a private beach, a watersport session or a restaurant reservation.
Explore this visitThe Old Market and Sharm El Maya
Request time for shops, souvenirs and a meal in the Old Market area. Agree a recognisable pickup point before setting out, especially for a group. You can keep this as an unhurried evening visit or combine it with another stop you choose.
Explore this visitHadaba, Ras Um Sid and Farsha
Request a transfer for an outing around Hadaba or a visit to Farsha Mountain Lounge. State the venue and planned return time. Venue admission rules, suitable ages, seating and accessibility must be checked with the venue; a car booking does not reserve a table or guarantee entry.
Explore this visitRas Muhammad National Park
Choose between a requested land itinerary and a separately arranged boat experience. They cover different places and should not be treated as interchangeable. Confirm departure point, stops, park charges and any equipment in the written option before deciding.
Explore this visitNabq Protectorate
Request a nature outing focused on Nabq's coastal landscape and mangroves. Nabq resort hotels and the protected-area visit are different destinations. Agree access, the route and any local arrangements in advance, rather than assuming an ordinary hotel transfer includes an excursion.
Explore this visitSharm El Sheikh Museum
Add an indoor heritage visit to a beach holiday. The museum presents Egyptian history alongside material relating to Sinai's heritage. Request transport to the museum itself, check the current visitor session and decide separately whether you would like guiding or admission arranged.

Ideas for your time in Sharm El Sheikh
A gentle first evening
After time at your hotel, request a transfer to the Old Market or Naama Bay. Choose one area, leave room for a meal, and agree a return meeting point. There is no need to turn the first night into a long sightseeing circuit.
One experience, properly planned
Keep one day for a requested Ras Muhammad or Red Sea boat experience. Confirm what happens on land and on the water, who provides equipment and where the vehicle meets you. Add a separate town outing on another day if you prefer a slower pace.
Continue to Dahab
Request a direct hotel change to Dahab, or ask about an agreed break along the way. A transfer can end at your hotel, while the promenade, Lagoon and Blue Hole remain separate visit choices for your Dahab stay.
Your transport. Your optional extras.

Pickup areas & connections
Sharm El Sheikh Airport and agreed hotel entrances across the named resort areas. For boat outings, share the operator and confirmed marina; for bus arrivals, share the company, service and station. Tell us about flight times, suitcases, child seats and sports equipment so a suitable vehicle can be quoted. For several vehicles, agree one group contact and a clear meeting point.
Route distances for planning
Approximate road distances from Sharm El Sheikh Airport. Your resort, final address, route and checkpoints can change the distance and journey time. These are planning estimates, not guaranteed transfer times.
| Destination | Approximate road distance | Allow for driving |
|---|---|---|
| Dahab | About 90–95 km | About 1 h 15 min–1 h 45 min |

| Taba | About 215–225 km | About 3–3.5 hours |
Plan a comfortable visit
Keep beach access, specialist activities and venue entry separate from a transport booking unless your selected option lists them. Let us know about walking limits or steps before choosing cliffside venues. For sea activities, confirm conditions and requirements with the operator. Airport departures need time for hotel pickup, the road journey and the airline's check-in requirement; the road ranges for other cities below are estimates only.
For a quotation, share your date, hotel or exact address, attraction choices, passenger ages, luggage and final drop-off. Add any child-seat, walking or accessibility requirements. We confirm what is possible and itemise any additional arrangements.
Sharm El Sheikh travel questions
Do I have to book a whole Sharm tour?
No. Request a single outing, an airport transfer, a return journey or an agreed car-and-driver itinerary. You select the places and optional extras.
Is a boat trip included with a marina transfer?
Only if your selected option or written quotation explicitly includes the boat experience. A road transfer on its own covers the agreed pickup and drop-off.
Can a family or large group travel together?
Share adult and child numbers, bags and any equipment. We quote the suitable vehicle arrangement and confirm availability; do not choose by passenger count alone when travelling with large luggage.
What if my hotel or preferred visit is missing from the planner?
Request a quotation with the exact address, travel date, party and chosen activity. A guide listing does not mean that every combination has an instant price.
